Two semi-detached office units in Okehampton which came to market earlier in the year have shown strong interest despite the restrictions which have been in place for much of the marketing period.

Unit 8B Cranmere Road, on the Exeter Road Industrial Estate, has just been let to House and Home, who offer property services to the insurance industry, while the adjoining Unit 8A is under offer and being fitted out for the tenant’s requirements. The lease terms agreed in both cases show an uplift in rent from the previous lease, and enquiries are still being received, indicating that there is unrequited demand for such units in the town.

The units, each offering 1,868 square feet of modern office space, all on ground floor level, were offered at a rent of Β£19,750 per annum.
