New boy and former residential agent Joseph Rea has been finding his commercial feet out and about in Cornwall, dealing with office, industrial and investment properties from the firm’s Truro base.
It has been a great start to the new year.
I am really excited to announce we will soon have a board in Porthleven! We have been instructed to market the popular Moonflower Restaurant with a new ten-year lease.
I have also found a retail tenant in Penryn for new agency client Edward Osman of EO developments who we have previously worked for on the valuation side of the business. The occupier has offices and retail units throughout the UK and I am delighted to have been able to source them a property to launch their business in Cornwall.
Heads of terms have been issued and I am pleased to say that the client has been impressed with the service and is keen to work with us on an ongoing basis.
This deal came about as a result of me taking the time to talk to applicants and find out all about their needs. It also reinforces the benefits of having a multi-disciplinary team with agents and other professionals working so closely in the same office.
We have been instructed to market an industrial unit in Redruth for Severn Subsea Technologies, part of the Severn Glocon Technologies Group. At £1.41m this is a fantastic opportunity and I’m excited to get it sold!
I have enjoyed meeting three local charities, a sector I haven’t dealt with before, and am working closely with one to find new premises.
Along with the rest of the team in Truro I am enjoying being really busy and looking forward to a prosperous 2019 in Cornwall.
